I was born on a rainy day

The show follows the journey of Nu, a cloud thrown off its original path by El Niño, and Noto, a clever wind that travels across all of Latin America and senses something is wrong in the air. Together, they try to warn the lands, rivers, seas, mountains and animals that El Niño is on its way.

The play sensitively addresses the consequences of climate change, understanding art as an important tool for environmental education. Rather than presenting an alarmist message, it offers an experience of wonder, discovery and connection — inviting the audience to see that the planet is a living being, that we are all connected, and that caring for the environment is caring for ourselves — and that this is the only way to secure our future.
